Barça Ready for First Match at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Basque side in La Liga two and a half years since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to host the next European match against Eintracht Frankfurt in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
