With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one idea naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Look at this total royalty. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wish to listen. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an whole open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite like a socially-savvy Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with constant acid reflux. The sign known for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a plan.

The Scales – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive being, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol
