Moist weather were forecast to persist along large portions of the state's eastern regions this week as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent severe weather risk anticipated across multiple regions of both regions.

Medical Alert

Public health experts cautioned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, particularly given the current weather patterns.
